First release! KUBIRE UNAGI4”

We would like to introduce our new product "KUBIRE UNAGI4" which will be released this fall and was previewed at Mother Lake Attraction the other day.

As its name suggests, this worm has an eel-like shape and a sharply tapered waist.

The reason I made the silhouette abstract is because I wanted it to resemble not only eels but also shrimp, goats, etc., and various other creatures that live on the bottom.

The first thing that catches your eye is the super voluminous tail.

It creates a bouncy action.

It shakes with rod work.

It shakes when you pull it.

It bounces immediately after hitting the bottom.

It bounces right in front of your eyes and then the tail falls down after a moment, creating a fascinating action.

The tail is diamond shaped so it tends to roll to one side.

This allows it to swing from side to side with a twist even when pulled in 1cm increments.

The fins and legs on the tail are intended to stabilize the fish in the direction it falls.

This resistance makes it more likely to tip over vertically.

The dimples on the surface are to prevent it from sticking to the cover.

The waist is thick enough to provide a good balance between strength and softness.

If it were any thicker, it wouldn't produce the popping action, and if it were any thinner, it would be prone to tearing; it's an exquisite design.

I want to keep the size at 4 inches, but if I increase the volume of the tail, I will be faced with a dilemma: it will not be able to carry a larger hook.

In order to be able to set a strong #1/0 class hook, the balance between the front and back of the body and the length of the waist has been adjusted to the very limit.

The arms and legs on the body create a sense of hooking onto the cover, and at the same time, they twitch and create tiny vibrations even during the vertical fall and retrieve.

The characteristics of this worm can be utilized with a free rig or Texas rig, but the no-sinker rig that moves undulating on its own as it falls is also attractive.

The waist allows the body to fold, which increases the casting distance and makes it easier to suck in, which is a great feature.

The current release is in 4 inches, but we are also considering expanding the sizes, so stay tuned!
