[SteerRide 6”] A nice bite is achieved with a curve fall!

At the beginning of Golden Week, Lake Biwa was packed to capacity despite a strong northwest wind.

Due to the strong wind and rough weather we were forced to give up on going out on the boat and headed to the shore to satisfy our incomplete desire to fish.

After catching it with a high roll at a major point, he moved away to avoid pressure.

The wind is starting to calm down, but the swell remains and feels nice.

The heavy rain in the morning, plowing, strong winds and various other factors have made the water very muddy and chaotic.

Full cast of the Steerride 6" 0.9g jig head!

The good thing about the SteerRide is that it can fly easily even in slightly strong winds.

I aimed for that perfect spot where the worm wouldn't bend in the wind, but wasn't too stiff either.

The action at this time is basically a curve fall.

After the lure hits the bottom, lift the rod and let the line slacken. With tension that is neither too tight nor too loose, imagine it flying low around the bottom.

Let it swim as far as possible and refrain from reeling it in until it hits the bottom!

Once it hits the bottom, remove the lint and repeat...

Most bites occur just before the bait hits the bottom. The angle of the rod at this point is almost vertical. Sometimes the rod even swings up to the back of the bait.

After a few casts, I got a bite just before it hit the bottom, but it wasn't hooked.

Then, when the wind was weak, I cast further out to sea!

After hitting the bottom, there was the first curve fall, and again there was a bite just before it hit the bottom.

This time the hook was set properly.

The fish bit after a full cast and pulled really hard, making the interaction super fun!

I caught a recovering bass with jagged teeth that was eating a moroko.

As the number of fish caught after catching increases from now on, it seems that no-sinkers will be used more in addition to jig heads.
