Taking on the Grace280! Lake Biwa in the middle of winter!

Lake Biwa is finally entering the coldest season, and as the weather gets colder, there are a certain number of anglers whose excitement reaches its peak for the year.

For such anglers, this time we will introduce a big bait approach using the Grace280F during the harsh winter months.

The target is fish that prey on large bait before spawning from January to March.

As the weather gets colder, bass start gathering near the main channel offshore where the water temperature is stable, and when they bite, they are big, and the bait they are eating is also big. That's the situation.

We will be tackling this spot with the Grace 280, but it might be easiest to imagine it as a swim jig.

The area we selected was a seemingly poor area where all the weeds had been removed, yet there were still some patches remaining.

Aim for bass that are hiding in the patch or floating on top of it.

Now let's take a look at how to use it.

Cast the Grace 280, which has been tuned to sink 1m in 4 to 5 seconds!

Take the lure to the bottom, or if possible, start retrieving it just before the bottom.

Just let out plenty of lint and retrieve slowly.

If you come across a weed, remove it very gently.

It is best to never jerk it, but to either pop it off in less than half a turn of the handle, or let it slip out smoothly.

The moment you clear this weed is the best chance for a bite.

If you don't get a bite, slowly retrieve to the next weed.

Yes, it's similar to the swim jig that everyone loves.

This is a type of fishing where you basically reel it in slowly until you pick it up, but sometimes you can switch to continuous twitching the moment it starts to ascend.

This is the fun of this type of fishing, once the switch is turned on you can see the shocking scene of the bait chasing all the way to the surface and snatching it right in front of your eyes, even if the water temperature is in the single digits and the water is 5m deep.

Once you see this, you won't be able to stop!

If the game comes early, the catch will be big, and before you know it, you'll have been casting all day...

This type of fishing is effective from now when all the weeds have fallen out, until it gets warm and the new shoots are fully grown.

This winter, why not try out the Grace280 for a thrilling shot?
