The sardine season is in full swing in Osaka Bay right now!
If you want to match the size of the bait exactly, the short type jig is advantageous.
If the fish are floating, you can use a quick one-pitch bait, or if the fish are concentrated on the bottom, you can attach a rear hook and use a slow bait, making this an indispensable jig at this time of year.
And then the Tachi pattern starts to show signs around the time of Obon!
It's time for the long type jig, which we developed as a jig for the tachi pattern!
This long type has an asymmetrical body that allows for a longer flight time.
The standing pattern action, which involves just turning the head and mixing in a soft drop, is extremely easy to do!
The jerking action of the Tachi pattern varies quite a bit depending on the angler,
Of course, it also supports one-pitch and long jerks at a high level.
It has been tested at the 100m line in the Sea of Japan. It can be used comfortably even in deep water.
Returning to the topic, in Osaka Bay where the sardine pattern is on the rise, short type lures of 160 to 200g are proving to be extremely popular.
This short type is also great for hairtail jigging, so it's sure to be your main hit of the summer!
