Grace280F nearing completion

Development of the Grace280F is nearing completion, and the first shot model has finally been completed.

This product uses a production-specification mold, so it is strong enough to be tested in actual fishing conditions.

Just adding scales makes it look much more lifelike!

The eyes will be changed to look even more evil.

Compared to the 240F, the length is 4cm longer, but the weight has increased significantly from 2.7oz to 6.5oz.

All of this is because I want to reel in a big fish and feed it.

Up until now, it's been a battle between perfection and deadlines, but from here on, it's a battle with the fish.

We headed to Lake Biwa in the winter with freshly made samples…

We headed towards Kitako in high spirits, but there was a strong swell coming from the north.

Deciding this was impossible, they retreated to Minami-ko.

In an area with a high concentration of fish, I tried reeling in a wide action Grace280F that had been adjusted by attaching a 2mm SWIMBAIT JOINT PAD to the sinking and rear joints.

Because it's a giant bait, you have to be extremely careful and the time it takes to cast it can be frustratingly long.

When I looked through the LiveScope, I saw bass swarming...

Sometimes the fish will rush at you like crazy. Maybe this will work?

But it felt like it was missing just a little more. I removed the SWIMBAIT JOINT PAD and switched from a simple retrieve to a twitch and slide action with a lingering motion.

I felt a thud in my hand! But it didn't hook up...

When I looked closely, I could clearly see the teeth marks.

It's so frustrating!

However, I was able to reaffirm my ability to attract fish and bring them to bites, making it a worthwhile fishing trip.

It looks like I'll be immersed in the Grace280F for a while.
